Ellen Pau is a well known media artist and curator.

She is extremely active in the field both locally and internationally. Internationally, she was the curator of “Container Culture” in (Inter Society of Electronic Arts) ISEA 2006 and did a presentation for the Pacific Rim New Media Summit. Since 2005, Ellen is the peer reviewer for MIT Leonardo Electronic Almanac (LEA), and was invited to be the judge for Berlin’s Transmediale in 2006.

Locally, she acts as the consultant for a number of local culture magazines and art projects. She is also the adjudicator for HKIFVA and HKADC, and acts as the Museum Honorary advisor for LCSD. Ellen founded Hong Kong’s first media artists’ group, Videotage and Microwave International New Media Art Festival.

Since 1985, her video works had traveled widely to numerous International Festivals and Biennials, including Kwangju Biennial (1996), Video Brazil (1998), City On the Move (1999), Johannesburg Biennial (2000), Venice Biennale (2001) and Shanghai Biennial (2004). She is now developing a new QR code mobile phone project to be presented in Hong Kong- Shenzhen Bi-city Biennale of Urbanism and Architecture 2007. Her monograph “Dye-a-dia-logue with Ellen Pau” was published in New York and Hong Kong in 2004.

She lectures in universities while working as a full time medical imaging technologist.


鮑藹倫活躍於本地和國際媒體藝術圈,是世界有名的錄像創作者和媒體藝術展策展人。

鮑氏為2006年國際性學術會議與藝術展覽ISEA的貨櫃展策展人及太平洋沿岸新媒體高峰會議的演講者。同年,她受邀為德國柏林媒体藝術展的評判團成員。自2005年開始, 鮑氏為麻省理工 LEA的編評員。

鮑氏亦不遺餘力地推動本地媒體藝術的發展。鮑藹倫是香港獨立短片及錄像比賽的評判團成員，也是香港藝術發展局和康文署藝術館的顧問。她亦創辨了香港媒體藝術的先鋒組織錄映太奇和微波國際媒體藝術節。

自八五年開始,鮑氏的作品受邀到無數大小的影展及雙年展，包括光州雙年展、巴西錄像媒體節、城市在動、約翰尼斯堡雙年展、威尼斯雙年展及上海雙年展等。二十年巡迴展覽後,2004年 “大大話話鮑藹倫”在香港及紐約面世。

鮑氏除了在大專院校教學演講外還是全職的放射診斷技師。
